Downloadable Content in Mario games can be purchased in certain Mario Games in Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo Switch systems. As long as you have a Nintendo Network ID or a Nintendo Accout, you can get notifications of whatever available DLCs await you. Some Mario games can open DLC after you turn on SpotPass. Once purchased, it can be downloaded and be played to make Mario games more fun.
As of March 27, 2023, the Wii U and 3DS Nintendo eShops that have those kinds of DLCs are closed. I’m afraid if you haven’t got the DLCs from the Wii U and 3DS eShops, it is far too late! The eShop in the Nintendo Switch will stay open for DLC in Mario Switch Games.
That being said, if you already managed to get all the Wii U and 3DS DLC for this series, that’s-a perfectly fine. You can still redownload the Wii U and 3DS DLC in Mario series without paying.
